Abandoned prison in Australia (26 images)

So I’ve been a little under the weather this week, and haven’t had a chance to update the blog until now.  Apologies for that.  But I’m pretty excited about the two posts for today.

I’m not exactly sure why, but I love photos of abandoned buildings.  Sure, overall, abandoned buildings are sort of depressing; but there is usually an abundance of unique and interesting textures created by the dilapidation.

This prison in Fremantle, Australia is a good example of what I’m talking about.  It’s an eerie place, and these almost seem like stills from a horror movie.  I’m sure this will end up as an outrageously priced theme hotel.
