Ever wondered what a 5-star deluxe spa retreat looks like? (15 images)
Wow. Generally, I’m not one who gets impressed by luxury and opulence, but I must admit that I have a weak spot for crystal clear water and clean sandy beaches. This spa has that and much, much more. It is the W Retreat and Spa on Fesdu Island in the Maldives, and as far as I can tell, it’s about as close to heaven on Earth as you’re going to get.
I’ve never been to a spa, not even a less-than-reputable strip mall spa, so I don’t really have anything to compare with this one. However, if given the choice, I’ll pick this one all day. Also please notice the guy that pulled up in a sea-plane. Well played.
