Samsara documentary trailer (1 video)
I just heard about this film today, and I’m still reeling from the sheer scope of the project. Samsara (which means ‘to flow on’ and perpetually wander through states of existence) is a documentary film by Ron Fricke shot on 70mm film that was shot in 25 different countries over the course of 5 years. Pause.
Think about that for a second and try to wrap your head around it. The film is a non-verbal documentary produced by Oscilloscope.
There is so much more I want to say about how excited I am, but I’ll just say to check out the trailer below. The film is slated for a limited release in August of this year, and I cannot wait.
