Supermoon photos from 2012 and 2011 (20 images)

If you didn’t know, this past weekend was the closest the Moon gets to the Earth all year, and it also happened to be a full moon.  This phenomenon is known as a Supermoon.

I was pretty excited about it, and to be honest, was a little disappointed.  It wasn’t overly super from my vantage point, not like last year anyway.  But I mean, it’s the Moon, so it’s always going to be cool.  Below are some photos of the Supermoon from this year and last year.
