Tattoo Tuesday – Tattoos by artist Peter Aurisch (13 images)

I feel a little bit strange calling myself a tattoo enthusiast when I only actually have one myself (an autumn-colored Maple leaf on my right forearm), but I really love tattoo artwork, and these by tattooist and artist Peter Aurisch (link contains some NSFW images) are hands-down some of the coolest I’ve ever seen.

I’m sort of fascinated by the art of tattooing, and am impressed with how much these don’t look like tattoos.  They genuinely look like they were done with a paintbrush, and it amazes me.  Tattoos appeal to me because I look at getting a tattoo as investing and participating in an original work of art, and the artwork in Peter Aurisch’s tattoos is beautiful.
