The works of art below were created by a group of artists for the Heartwork Project – a project designed to raise money for art supplies for the art room at Target House, a long-term treatment facility for children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The theme this year was Hope. This is such a heartwarming project, especially in a world where artists and designers are increasingly concerned with Facebook likes and website...

Stunning artwork by Tom Whalen (25 images)

A friend of mine sent me a link to Tom Whalen’s deviantART page yesterday, and I was an immediate fan.  His sense of color and contrast is incredibly inspiring, and his work has a sense of both elegance and whimsy.  They’re created in a way that almost makes them seem as if they’re moving. Mr. Whalen is one of those artists that humbles me when I see just how much work he has put out – and how good it all is.  What you...

What I wanted to share were these examples of people embracing the timeline re-design, and taking their profiles...

Wedding invitations – You’re doing it right (35 images)

When I came home the other day, my girlfriend was looking at wedding stuff online – just for fun, no pressure – she assured me.  And it got me thinking about just how much thought goes into the planning of a wedding, and how many options there are. Whenever I think of options on that scale, I like to see what creative solutions others have come up with, and I wasn’t disappointed to find these awesome wedding invitations....
